Sarah Kabu has done Brotox procedure in Nairobi which removed her wrinkles from the face to make her more beautiful ad appealing to her husband Simon Kabu.
Sarah was injected with a chemical that automatically removed the wrinkles. The procedure, which she described as not panful, took more than 45 minutes.
The 45-year-old took the step after realizing that her face was developing wrinkles, something that could chase away her husband and even make him start admiring young women.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “The medicine in Botox injections is made from the same toxin that causes a type of food poisoning called botulism. But the forms of purified botulinum toxin used by licensed health care providers meet medical control standards.”
Botox procedure costs Ksh 20,000 to Ksh 100,000 and it’s mostly done by people ageing but want to look young.
Botox shots block certain chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to relax the facial muscles that cause frown lines and other facial wrinkles. Botox injections also are used to ease symptoms of some health conditions. It’s not a cure.
