Betty Kyallo’s Salon to be Auctioned over rent arrears

Shock as it emerges that Betty Kyallo’s executive salon, Flair by Betty, will be auctioned over rent arrears. Betty launched the salon in 2020 which is located in Nairobi’s Kilimani area, she later opened a branch in Meru.However, she has not been making enough money to enable her pay rent and earn a profit. Even after talking nicely to the owner, she couldn’t convince him enough to let her continue doing business. Her business has been put up for auction.

Betty had accumulated rent arrears of more than Ksh 1.5 million. The owner has listed items to be auctioned—-they include:

3 dismantled well shelves, a massage bad stand, 2 massage beds, a small serve rack, a glass shelf, 4 big mirrors, towel warmers and dressing tables. Her items are: a binatone microwave, small rolling seats, an office table, 12 barber seats, 3 seats attached with sinks, 9 CCTV cameras, a Huawei router, a small foot massage, a Mac Coffee maker, Hiluck video recorder and one door fridge.In short, every item in the house that belongs to Betty will be auctioned.

The auction is set to take place at Leakey’s Storage Limited along Lunga-Lunga road in Nairobi this month.

Betty was charging Ksh 1500 to Ksh 5000 per head. Initially, her business was doing well until last year. The celebrities and famous people who used to promote her are nowhere to be seen.

Reliable source inform us that she is seriously looking for a job to sustain her lifestyle. She aims to join TV 47 or Citizen TV.

Betty left her marriage 8 years ago to focus on her life. She went ahead to date a politician, a lawyer and many other celebrities. Okari on the other hand married Joy who has been a loyal wife for more than 6 years. Betty is currently single.
