Muthee Kingei, popularly known as Guka wa Nairobi,is one of the most loved pastors in Kenya.His real name is Benson Gathungu Kamau
Muthee Kiengei was born in 1980 and he comes from the Kikuyu tribe.
The pastor started his career in 2006 as a comedian. He operated in Nakuru where he used to make people laugh and earn a living. Later, he was employed at Kameme FM where he hosted a morning show which became very popular among Kikuyu listeners.
During his tenure as a Radio Presenter, he started Emceeing events. It’s at this time that he discovered his calling for preaching. He later started Kiengei Live, an entertainment and events company.
In 2023 he started his own church, Jesus Compassion Ministries, where he is a pastor. His church has grown to attract more than 20,000 members.
Muthee Kiengei’s marriage and relationship is full of controversies. His first wife was Kezeiah Kariuki.Their marriage lasted less than 10 years. They divorced and each of them went separate ways. Kiengei later married Joyceline Ngaru.The two are currently living together as husband and wife.
At the moment, he is embroiled in a love triangle with Damaris Wa Spare Parts. Rumour has it that he is dating Damaris who is now the Matron of Jesus Compassion ministries church.
Another controversy rocking Muthee’s life is when he referred to Pritty Fishy as ugly. He was forced to apologize.
He is currently worth Ksh 250 million to Ksh 400 million.
