Babu Owino is the only ODM MP who did not participate in the impeachment of Gachagua. The MP did not bother to join other MPs in parliament but he was instead in his constituency attending to his subjectsโ needs. He has explained why he was conspicuously missing.
โHow can I waste my precious whole day discussing about Rigathi yet we have serious issues like Adani,New University funding model,SHIF,High cost of living,High taxation,unemployment among others.Youโll see me in parliament when these issues are presented but they will not bring them.I was highly engaged with other important and urgent matters affecting my constituents.The speed with which Rigathi was impeached should be the same speed used to solve Kenyans challengesโ,he explained in his Facebook page.
Babu Owino is also not supporting the union between Raila and Ruto.
