The son of Jaramogi thought that by joining Ruto, Kenyans would stay silent. He believed he was powerful enough to calm the country. He thought his name alone could stop protests and keep people in line.
But today, Gen Zs have shown him dust. They have done what he used to do in demos but times 1000. They brought the entire country to a standstill without a single leader, and without begging for a handshake.
Raila has now been fully exposed. For years, he used his influence to chase handshakes and power while ordinary Kenyans continued to suffer. But now, no one is even asking what he thinks. His political value is gone. Ruto is in trouble but for Raila, he is finished.
What is worse for Ruto is that Gen Zs have no leader to approach. No one to call, no one to bribe, no one to HANDSHAKE.
He is facing a storm that has no face and no voice to silence.
Yesterday it was only Luo Nyanza which didn’t protest. This shows that Raila has only remained with Luo Nyanza. In short, he comes with less than 2 million votes to the table. This is very worrying to President Ruto who thought that Raila controls half of the country. The president has to look for votes elsewhere.
