Betty Bayo died a painful death after AAR Hospital refused to admit her. She was to be admitted to the ICU at the hospital when she was told to pay Ksh260,000 upfront. She didn’t have the money at the time.
When the hospital failed to admit her,she was transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital. At the hospital,she waited for hours before being admitted. She needed blood urgently which wasn’t readily available.
Betty died of Leukaemia and left two children,a husband and boyfriend.
The musician could have survived at AAR Hospital if blood transfusion had happened.
