Royal Media services, which owns Citizen TV has lost one of their members. Edward Irungu Mwangi, a Production Assistant attached to Royal Media Servicesโ Digital Department, died on Tuesday morning after being involved in a grisly road accident.
The accident, which occurred in Nairobiโs Gigiri area claimed two people and injured several others.
Sources say the accident, which involvedย ย a Kacose Sacco and the Ganaki Sacco matatu, was caused by an electricity pole which had fallen on the road.
Irungu died on the spot while the other victim died while being rushed to hospital.
