High Court Allow CORD to Hold Anti-IEBC Demonstrations, CORD to Hold Urgent Meeting Shortly

The High Court of Kenya has allowed CORD to hold their weekly demonstrations and subsequently dismissed application made by Jubilee leaders last week demanding the court to stop the demonstrations.

The court has also ordered the police to provide security to the demonstrators as they seek to smoke out Isaack Hassan and his team from Anniversary Towers.

The court argued that it’s against the constitution to block the demonstrations when they are peaceful.

New just in indicate that CORD leaders will hold a press conference at Capitol Hill shortly to direct their supporters on what to do next. The meeting will be chaired by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
