Dennis Waweru, the Dagoretti Member of Parliament, is a wealthy person, who has invested heavily in the Nairobi Securities Exchange and real estate sector.
Before Dennis joined politics, he served as the Marketing Director and Chief Dealer at Faida Investment Bank Limited. He is listed as a co-owner of the company.
Dennis started the business of investing in real estate and stock market 20 years ago. During that time, there were a lot of opportunities in the real estate sector as well as the stock market.Waweru capitalized on numerous opportunities that existed in the country, bought shares in several multinationals, which motivated him to start Faida Investment Bank.
Apart from being a co –owner of Faida Investment Bank, Waweru owns several apartments in Nairobi as well as transport business.
It’s believed that he is wealthier than Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko but slightly poorer than Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.
For your information, Kidero is the main financier of Raila Odinga; Raila needs him more than Kidero needs the former Prime Minister.
In 2017,Waweru will be Jubilee party flag bearer for Nairobi gubernatorial race, Evans Kidero wil carry CORD flag while Sonko will be an independent candidate.
