Johnson Muthama
Johnson Muthama is among the wealthiest politicians in the country. The Machakos Senator didn’t complete his primary school, meaning he doesn’t possess a KCSE certificate.
Oscar Sudi
Despite indicating he holds a diploma Certificate in Business Management, Oscar Sudi is not even a KCSE certificate holder, according to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission says the MP has fake KCSE and Diploma certificates..and the MP has not refuted the claims.
Ferdinand Waititu
There is controversy surrounding his degree, which he claimed to have acquired from Punjab University. His qualifications are still debatable.
Hassan Joho
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho is not able to explain how he acquired his degree from Kampala University. The Governor is not in a position to defend himself because the university has not fully given him a clean bill of health.

Prof Anyang Nyongo
Professor Anyang Nyongo was one of the most respected scholars in the country until he joined politics. The Kisumu Senator holds more than 7 degrees. Nyong’o completed his undergraduate studies at Uganda’s Makerere University, where he was awarded a 1st class honours degree in political science. He thereafter proceeded to his graduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Chicago, where he obtained his masters and PhD in political science in 1977.
Prof.PAUL CHEPKWONY
Prof Paul Chepkwony is the governor for Kericho County. Prof. Paul Chepkwony Kiprono was born in Ainamoi and attended Poiywek in his home area before joining Kericho High School and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He has previously worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor of Biochemistry at Moi University, Chepkoilel campus, now University of Eldoret.

Alfred Mutua
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is also listed among the most educated politicians in the country.
He was educated at Dagoretti High School (O level) and at Jamhuri High School (A level). He obtained his BA in Journalism from Whitworth College in the United States and his MSc in Communication from Eastern Washington University. He received his doctorate in communication and media from the University of Western Sydney in Australia.
Mutua was the first journalist to interview the new president of Zaire/Congo in the 90s Mr. Joseph Kabila soon after he took over the country following his father’s assassination (while working for SBS Television of Australia)

Kivutha Kibwana is the current Governor for Makueni. He was minister for Defence, minister for Environment and a former member of parliament for the Makueni Constituency.
