Giant mobile company, Apple, has hinted it would have black Friday event for its gadgets. On its website, the company indicated the event will occur on Nov. 25.
Apple has told customers to โsave datesโ for the big event, when the company is expected to clear old stock as well as boost sales.
The company has not yet revealed the items that will be sold on discount but itโs expected that watches and smartphones, especially iPhone 7 will retail at a discount of not less than 20 % of the normal price.
Apple didnโt offer any Black Friday specials last year. In previous years, it bundled iTunes gift cards with certain purchases made on the shopping holiday. The teaser for this yearโs event hints at deals that may include discounts on specific gadgets rather than just gift cards. Itโs unclear whether the deals will be online only or in-store as well, but the teaser page says to โCome back this Friday to check everyone off your list.โ
Other companies that will have the black Friday sales include Jumia, Amazon, Kilimall and Alibaba.Customers are encouraged to save for this day.
