The highly anticipated NASA media briefing has been called off after Citizen TV’s Francis Gachuri was beaten senselessly by NASA goons.
The NASA supporters had gathered at the Wiper Headquarters when they heard that one of the journalists from Citizen TV is around.One by one,they rushed to discipline him.Gachuri,who is not an athlete by nature, was rescued by security officers who were at the scene.
The reason for the incident is that Citizen TV was responsible for updating the nation about election results for the presidential rerun exercise.
Following the incident, journalists from all the media stations walked out, leaving NASA politicians and their supporters. The opposition was forced to postpone their event until further notice.
