It’s a new dawn in Zimbabwe as Emerson Mnangagwa becomes the new president of the economically challenged nation.

Mnangagwa replaced the ailing grandpa this morning after jetting into the country from exile.The former Vice President was welcomed by the military amid cheers from the nationals.

The military has announced there will be smooth transition as Mugabe plans to officially step down as the President.

As Mnangagwa takes over from the 93-year-old, Grace Mugabe,who was due to succeed her husband, has gone into exile in a neighboring country.Grace boarded a plane yesterday night with the blessing of her husband.

From today Mugabe is not the president of Zimbabwe.
