Jubilee top blogger Pauline Njoroge has confirmed what killed four Luos in Ruaraka.According to her, the thug was escaping lynching by a mob when he accidentally shot 4 people.
Her full statement on Facebook read:
“The very unfortunate killings in Ruaraka were not political and there was no mungiki involved. From the information being given by residents of riverside who witnessed the incident, these people were shot by a thug who was trying to escape from being lynched by a mob hence shooting aimlessly to distract the chasers. It is so sad to see politicians who know the truth about what happened taking advantage of the situation and claiming that this was ethnic cleansing by Mungiki. It was not. People have lost lives in the hands of a gangster and instead of having an honest discussion about it politicians want to take advantage of the dead to push their agenda and cause violence in the area. Is this what it has come to? Very sad!”
