The Standard Gauge Railway has increased fare prices from Nairobi to Mombasa and all other stations within.
The company made the announcement today amid murmurs from Kenyans. According to the new structures, the economy class will cost Ksh 1,200 from Nairobi to Mombasa while VIP will cost Ksh 5,100.
Previously, Economy class went for Ksh 700 while VIP cost Ksh3,000
The new prices will take effect on April 2018
