Finally, there is white smoke, Sportpesa has confirmed that everything is moving on well and that the company will resume operations this week.
In their regular updates on Facebook, the company’s Admin acknowledged that indeed the highly awaited announcement will be made before the week ends.
Here is what they reported on Facebook:
“Unfortunately we are not in a position to give you a time frame. However, we are hopeful that we will resume fully very soon.
Rest assured we are working round the clock to resume normal operations. We will keep you posted via our different platforms: Facebook(SportPesa Care) and Twitter(@SportPesa_Care)”
“Wamlambez… Robert.😆 Thank you for your optimism. Unfortunately we do not have a time-frame. However we are posivie that it will be soon. Rest assured that we will not hesitate to keep you updated on our progress”

All these answers point to the fact that Sportpesa will resume before local and international leagues start.One thing we are sure is that Sportpesa must resume operations this month, simply because they Sponsor Kenya Premier League,Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, there is no other company that can sponsor the teams.Several companies have also lost significant revenues due to the closure of the Paybill numbers.
