Journalist and TV anchor Hussein Mohammed has left Citizen TV

The talented journalist announced his departure from the leading media house today morning.

“It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed & relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS. I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics & everything in between. See you soon”,he announced on his Facebook page.

Hussen has been anchoring for Citizen TV since 2008.He has interviewed top politicians and business persons in the country, including Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto. He is ranked among the most talented journalists in the country.

Though it’s not confirmed which station he’ll be working for, close friends say he might be joining BBC to take the position of Larry Madowo who went for further studies.
