Three years ago, former Posho mill worker, Pauline Njoroge posted something on Facebook that shocked the entire country, even her friends, that the Nairobi National Park is not profitable enough—it should be done away with.
Kenyans resurrected the post today to show her that even the highly publicized railway may not be as profitable as the park. The railway in question has a destination in Suswa and since it started operating, less than 20 passengers have been ferried.
Pauline, who accompanies the President to international meetings where environmental conservation is the key topic, was opposed to the conservation of the Nairobi National Park, saying that the animals there are problematic and advising the government to do away with them.
