There is no single bank in Kenya that open on Sunday but almost all banks allow their clients to deposit via their agents anytime of the day. In addition, there are specific banks that open on Saturday until 6 p.m.
If you want to deposit money late Saturday,Co-operative Bank,Family Bank ,KCB and National bank have extended hours.
Clients of Family Bank should visit Kilimani, Kenyatta Avenue and Family Bank towers anytime from 8.a.m to 4.p.m on Saturday, these branches open until 4.p.m
Cooperative Bank also offers extended hours on Saturday for some of the branches in Nairobi.Maasai Mall, Money Transfer Center(Hilton) and Thika Road Mall are some of the branches that open until 4.p.m.
KCB also offers extended opening hours. Moi Avenue and Westlands Branch are some of the banks that extend on Saturday until 4.p.m and 6.p.m respectively.
It’s a norm on Kenya for all banks in Kenya to close during public holidays and on Sunday. But the brighter side is that the agency banking solved most of the issues that clients used to face, now you can deposit or withdraw money through agents even on Sunday.
