If you want to check 2019 KCPE exam results through SMS, follow these steps
Step 1
Make sure your phone has enough credit, more than Ksh20
Step 2
Send your Index Number followed by the word KCPE to 20076 and wait for confirmation message from KNEC.
The message should be drafter the same way you draft the normal messages and sent to 20076
Example
1235566 KCPE
Then send to 20076
Step 3
It will take 1 to 20 minutes to get the result from KNEC.But if there is congestion in the SMS line, you will wait for some hours. It’s advisable that you send this message immediately the exam result is announced.
Note that each SMS will cost Ksh 20.
One thing you should know is that checking your result on KNEC portal is free. If you have internet it’s better to check the result there rather than spending Ksh20 on SMS.However,you must find congestion on the portal and it won’t be easier to access your result.
