Mediamax Limited is undergoing restructuring after experiencing serious financial crisis following the poaching of Presenters from leading media houses in 2013.
The company has started the exercise which is believed to take two phases. The first phase saw more than 20 Journalists and News Editors shown the door. The second phase will touch on senior managers who have failed to propel the company into greatness.
Currently, K24 mainly survives on adverts from the government due to goodwill from Uhuru administration. If the government withdraws its adverts, the company will close the next minute.
