This tortoise was born in 1832,it has lived for over 190 years and is regarded as the oldest land animal alive.
Born in 1832 (5 years prior to the coronation of Queen Victoria), Jonathan the Tortoise is due to turn 190 years old in 2022. That makes him the oldest-known land animal alive today.
The tortoise currently lives in Seychelles and has not shown signs of getting old anytime soon.It’s one of the world’s most visited animal with millions of tourists visiting it’s house to take pictures.
