Oscar Brighton has been arrested for selling 2022 KCSE examination leakage. The Zetech University student has been selling the papers to students, charging between Sh1, 600 for Humanities to Sh2,600 for Sciences. Oscar has a WhatsApp group which he used to recruit members who sell the papers. So far, he has sold to more than 3,000 students.
Oscar Brighton was arrested yesterday by undercover agents attached to the Kenya National Examination council, monitoring and surveillance unit. The suspect was in possession of fake examination papers, while others were stored in his mobile phone.
Oscar started selling the fake papers even before KCSE started. Some of the students who bought the papers were shocked that they were fake. Due to frustrations, they alerted the police.
Brighton, who wanted to get rich quickly, was arrested while hiding in his small room in Nairobi.
