Heavily armed police officers have surrounded Rigathi Gachagua’s Wamunyoro and Nairobi Homes. They have taken the step after failing to arrest him during the day. Sources say that Rigathi was informed that police are looking for him, he was airlifted to unknown location.
Gachagua is being arrested for the words he used during Obinna Show interview, where he said that 2007 will look like a Christmas party if IEBC dares to steal elections.
However,Wahome Thuku has clarified that the intention is not to arrest Gachagua but loom for the young people who shot on the air to chase away invaders when Gachagua was launching his party.
“THE target is not H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH as such. The target is those armed men who were filmed firing in the air to disperse invaders during the unveiling of the DCP at Lavington. The bigger aim is to dismantle his security and leave him vulnerable and silenced.
