Charles Keter Sacks Kenya Pipeline MD Flora Okoth and Replaces Her With Nephew Joe Sang

Newly appointed Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter has appointed his nephew Joe Sang as the new Managing Director of Kenya Pipeline, replacing the acting MD Flora Okoth.

Keter made the changes on Thursday 21, 2016, causing discomfort among members of the opposition who read mischief in the changes.

Some of the accusations which led Flora Okoth to be sacked include:

  1. Her negligence exposed KPC to litigation of billions
  2. Malpractices in the legal department during her tenure as the company Secretary. A legal audit unraveled illegal procurement of legal services.
  3. Flora has always manipulated her way up the ranks. She has NEVER attended any interview whatsoever since she was employed.
  4. She is accused of case fixing which has led to the company loosing almost all court battles hence loss of company money
  5. Flora did business with the company contrary to the law using a proxy called Willikista.

Kenya Pipeline is known for promoting tribalism and nepotism. It is one of the many government institution where family members occupy almost the entire department and never feel anything.
