Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has ordered the police to shoot Kenyans who invade police stations. He urged them not to sympathise with anyone, arguing that the work of a gun is to shoot and kill.
Murkomen further warned Kenyans against invading police stations. He said such actions will come with dire consequences in future.
Murkomen was responding to cases where Kenyans invaded several police stations and torched them during protests. They were angry at the treatment they were being given by the police.
The Interior CS assured them that he will protect them even in courts. He told them even if they shoot anyone,nothing will happen to them.
