Some years back, Kenyan women never used to drink alcohol but it has reached a point where they drink like their fathers. What is more shocking is that they donโt discriminate against any brand; be it Tusker, Guinness, Citizen, Allsopps or whisky.
Though not all tribes drink, there are specific women who like alcohol a lot, they include:
- Kikuyu
- Kamba
- Luo
- Luhya
- Kisii
- Meru
It is believed that more and more women from these tribes are joining the club each they, with a number absconding their responsibilities to make it in alcohol.
