Nakuru West member of parliament Mr.Samuel Arama has officially joined Jubilee coalition.Speaking in Nairobi on Tuesday ,Arama claimed that he will no longer eat in one plate with Raila Odinga over bad leadership.
Earlier this year, Arama was accused of taking a bribe of Sh 200,000 from Cabinet Secretary Francis Kimemia,but he denied the claims.
During that period opposition leader Raila looked the other way as Arama was fighting his own war.This is one of the reasons why the MP has decided to join his friends in Jubilee.
It seems the storm has finally come to ODM as more MPs are expected to join Jubilee,Namwamba being one of them.
One of the key members of Orange Democratic Party who is accused of openly working with Jubilee Government is Alfred Mutua.The Machakos Governor’s body language clearly indicates that he is out of CORD and nothing will change his mind.He has used his development agendas to sell his policies and make himself relevant in Ukambani so that he can topple former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka as the official Kamba community leader.
Currently,Jubilee wants to work with fresh blood and Mutua is one of the key leaders from Ukambani Uhuru is expected to use in 2017 to win his second term.
Another possible leader Uhuru is keen on courting is Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba.It’s believed that the ODM Secretary General has held several secret meetings with Deputy President William Ruto concerning his future political stand.Though the MP has not declared publicly that he will join Jubilee,his latest moves speaks a lot.
It’s now upon Raila Odinga to put his house in order instead of waiting until the last minute.
