Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko is set to graduate on 18th July,2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from the Kenya Methodist University.The senator who was barred from contesting for Senatorial post in 2013 had to enroll for a degree course so as to wrestle Evans Kidero in 2017.
Surprisingly,Governor Evans Kidero was the first to congratulate him with the following message:
“Congratulations are inorder Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko as you prepare to graduate tomorrow! You have walked a long way to reach this goal. You are truly an inspiration and demonstration to all that hard work and dedication does pay. We are very proud of you and well done!”
Sonko is now free to vie for Nairobi Governor seat in 2017
