Opposition leader Raila Odinga has writted a letter to Parliament Majority Leader Aden Duale to demanding clarification on what he meant when he publicly claimed that Raila Odinga’s company owes ailing Mumias Sugar Ksh 40 million.
Through his lawyer Paul Mwangi, the ODM leader has given Duale one day to respond to the allegations failure to which he will sue him in court for compensation.
But responding to Raila’s threats, Duale urged him to use the amount he intends to spend in court in paying what he owed Mumias Sugar Company.
Raila has also ordered his Lawyer to review Deputy President’s utterances during public gatherings so that he can determine whether the content will be subjected to a court process.
Raila has been vocal on the Uganda-Kenya sugar deal which will see the neighboring country import sugar to Kenya but Duale was quick to tell him that he’s the reason why Mumias is collapsing due to his accrued debt.
