ODM leader Raila Odinga has been told that he’s not the only one in opposition who is capable of contesting for Presidential elections, he should support others.

Kamba leaders led by Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama and Kitui Governor Kivutha Kibwana have urged Raila to support Kalonzo in 2017 presidential elections or they leave him at the eleventh hour.

Speaking at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Machakos county on Sunday, all Ukambani leader agreed with the two leaders, arguing that Kalonzo supported Raila in 2013 general elections but he flopped badly. Since luck is not on his side he should try Kalonzo Musyoka in 2017.

Already,Raila Odinga has started a serious campaign to unseat Uhuru in 2017 elections. Part of his strategies he will employ and seal loophole for possible rigging is to hire poll tallying machines and also have his agents in all polling stations. He’s also planning to hire youths to manage his Social Media platforms so as to attract as many youths as possible.

Kalonzo on the other hand is facing serious competition in his backyard. Alfred Mutua has launched a campaign strategy that will help him topple Kalonzo as the community leader.

Last week he was endorsed as the official Kamba leader by Council of Elders drawn from 22 clans in ukambani, he also launched Maendeleo Chap Chap initiative. All these are meant to draw more support in the entire region and leave Kalonzo in the cold.
