Julie announced on Sunday 11, 2015 that she will no longer be the one hosting the show and wished the one to wear her shoes good luck.
The Sunday Live show has grown in length and breadth, becoming one of the most watched shows in East and Central Africa. It is one of the few shows in the country rich in content and exhaustive in coverage, thus attracting huge following.
The departure of the eloquent Journalist will greatly create a huge vacuum at Royal media Services, which may take decades to fill. However, the entry of Ann Kiguta to the show is a relief for the station management as they see her as the perfect replacement for Julie.
Though it’s not known what motivated Julie to quit the show, rumour has it that she might get a government appointment.
She holds an LLB Law and an MBA from Cardiff Law School University of Wales and Cardiff Business School University of Wales respectively, making her one of the most suitable personalities to occupy any Senior Government position.
