Former Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa was on Friday morning arrested by Flying Squad officers over hate speech.
The CORD leader was arrested at the Railways Club on Friday and taken to Kilimani police station for questioning.
On Sunday, Aladwa claimed that for Raila to become the 5 th President of Kenya, there must be war, people must die. He urged CORD supporters to be ready for war in 2017, swearing that this time round they won’t watch someone steal elections without taking action.
The statement was received with fury as most Kenyans called for his arrest.The DPP, Keriako Tobiko ordered for his arrest and called upon CID Director Ndegwa Muhoro to investigate the matter.
Aladwa now joins Johnson Muthama and Moses Kuria,who are also facing the same charges.
We can confidently say that Aladwa will be released on bond,he is a big fish.
