A corrupt Police Officer will not sleep tonight after his job was terminated after Ethics and Anti-Corruption Officers caught him red handed collecting bribes from motorists in thousands.
The EACC detectives acted on a tip off from locals who complained of harassment from the notorious officer. They arrived in a small car which they packed some distance from the road block,which is situated on Kerugoya-Kutus road . In just 20 minutes, the officer collected Ksh 2,000 from motorists as the EACC officer watch in disbelief.
When the officers were satisfied they had enough evidence to send the man home and spoil his Christmas, they walked direct to where they saw him put the money. To their surprise, he had collected Ksh 22,550 today.
Now tell me, if today alone it was Ksh 22,550 how much has he collected since he was employed in 1999!
