Miss Universe 2015 happened on Sunday 2015 in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. One man who will however not forget the event is Steve Harvey. The Steve Harvey reality show host announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez-Arévalo the winner of 2015 beauty pageant and later realized he had made a terrible mistake.
Harvey was reminded by the judges that Gutierrez was actually not the winner. He returned to the stage with shocking news, Gutierrez-Arévalo is not the winner. The news caught the Columbian, who was performing the ritual wave to the audience, by surprise but she had to accept the result. Harvey finally announced the real winner, Pia Alonzo Wurztbach of the Philippines
After the announcement, the celebrated reality show host apologized to the entire world.
“Listen, folks. Let me just take control of this .This is exactly what’s on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake”, Harvey apologized.
