CORD Principal Kalonzo Musyoka has stated he will join Jubilee Party if Raila Odinga will not let him be the CORD flag bearer in 2017 general elections.
Speaking after celebrating Christmas, Kalonzo expressed concern that Raila’s recent gestures confirm that he is not interested in letting anyone be the flag bearer in ODM dominated coalition.
He stated that in 2013 he played second fiddle to the former Prime Minister and requested Raila to allow himu nseat Uhuru in 2017.
Kalonzo has warned Raila that he should also play second fiddle because he failed to capture the presidency in 2013 when he had a golden chance.
Jubilee Party was formed after JAP was dismantled following arguments from top leadership that having more parties within a coalition could weaken it in the forthcoming elections. If Kalonzo will consider joining JP then Raila should just surrender instead of being embarrassed at the ballot.
