Uber Taxi is a new Taxi company in Nairobi with a fleet of cars plying on major routes in the city.
Apparently, Uber is the cheapest and most reliable Taxi Company in Nairobi, with excellent customer care services.
Since their prices are almost half of what the notorious taxis charge, the other companies have ganged up against Uber in a bid to cut the company into sizes.
According to blogger Robert Alai, some taxi operators are moving around in gangs and posing as Uber taxi clients then attacking the innocent operators. The attacks have become so rampant in Nairobi that most of the Uber taxi operators fears for their lives.
Major hotspots in the #UberTaxiWars are Valley Arcade, Westlands, Yaya Centre and Hurlingham.
