The Kenya Police has acquired a fleet of armoured cars, including some of the deadliest weapons, to be used in fighting terrorism.
The vehicles arrived in Kenya over the weekend and will be distributed to all counties in with immediate effect.
The arrival of the new armoured vehicles is a relief to the police force who are used to ordinary vehicles which sometimes could not match what the enemies used in attacks.
President Uhuru is keen to reinforce the security forces amid serious threats from the terror group, Al shabaab.
