Nick Mwendwa has been elected the new FKF president, succeeding Sam Nyamweya who withdrew from the race earlier in the day.
Mwenda floored seasoned leaders, Sammy Sholei,Dan Shikanda and Ambrose Rachier,to become one of the youngest leaders in the history of Kenyan football.
Before joining the race, Nick was the chairman of Kariobangi Sharks, one of the most promising clubs in Nairobi.
Being a Young Turk, Nick carries the hopes of many talented youths whose talents have been wasted due to bad leadership.
He resumes duties immediately
