Valentine is a day every man wishes they could skip-perhaps god made a mistake of having the day in the calendar. But there are different ways men can avoid spending too much on their women in return for nothing.
Plan to visit your parents
This is the time you should plan to visit your parents back at home. Fortunately, this year’s valentine day falls on a weekend. It is, therefore, wise to plan as early as Thursday and inform your girlfriend you have important matters to discuss with your parents. She will resist of course, but insist you have your celebrations there, which is less costly.
Deliberately misplace your wallet or leave it at the office
Your wallet has ATM cards and other important documents which can enable you withdraw money for the event. Once your girlfriend knows you don’t have the documents, she will simply tell you to borrow some money, which you will obey, but borrow some little cash which cannot make you scratch your head.
Invite several relatives and friends at your house
Make sure as many relatives as possible visit you that day. If possible invite your parents to your house.
By having relatives in your house, your wife will be kept busy serving them.
