Pastor Madubuko is a happy man after marrying one of the Kenyan music stars, Emmy Kosgei.But things aren’t working for Emmy in Nigeria.
The heavily pregnant wife of Madubuko has revealed that she is almost quitting music in Nigeria because the locals don’t feel her music.
“It’s not easy, because it’s entirely a different ball game in Nigeria, they (Nigerians) don’t love my music”, Emmy told The Sun
A source close to Emmy revealed that the singer is planning to relocate back to Kenya once she has delivered her first born.
“Emmy is serious about growing her career, but Nigeria is not the best place for her music”, said the source.
Another issue that has bothered her is how Madubuko’s church members treated her when she married the old man.Most of them deserted the church after realizing that Madubuko had married a Kenyan.
The Tanunet Nelel hit maker had to soldier on despite the hatred.
It is not yet clear whether Emmy will relocate with her husband but it’s obvious she will soon be launching another album in Kenya and possibly settle in the country.
