Bungoma Senator,Moses Wetangula,is nursing serious injuries after being beaten by his wife,Anne Waceke,in their Karen home.
Wetangula’s neighbours reported that they heard a man screaming from the Senator’s house and thought strangers had invaded Wetangula’s compound.They rushed to his compound, armed to the tooth,and after opening the gate,they found Waceke raining on Wetangula as the Senator yelled for help.
The wife retreated when neighbours begged her, but explained that Wetangula’s infidelity is the cause of their squabbles.
According to the wife,Wetangula has been meeting a woman in Bungoma secretly, which Waceke won’t stomach. They have quarreled enough until the Kikuyu lady decided to take law into her hands.
This is the second time the Senator is receiving a beating from his well-built wife.In 2015,Wetangula was beaten and sought help from Langata Police station.
