A bodyguard attached to Aden Duale, Parliament Majority leader, was shot and seriously wounded on Monday evening at Eastleigh, Nairobi
Abdi Maalim was shot in the leg by the gunmen who ambushed him along General Waruinge road at around 6pm. The officer’s pistol was stolen during the ambush.
The gang reportedly escaped towards Kiwanja slums near Moi Air Base.
Duale was not in the company of the bodyguard when the incident happened.
