Admission Requirements
Applicants for the BSc degree in Real Estate Management must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
Obtained a minimum grade of C+ in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and have minimum grade of C+ in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- 2nd Group II (Physics, Biology or Chemistry) or
- Any Group III (Geography or History or Art and Design) or
- Any Group IV (Home Science or Art and Design or Agriculture or Aviation Technology or Computer Studies) or
- Any Group V (French, German, Arabic, Music, Business Studies)
- A-Level
Two Principal Passes in any one of the following subjects: Economics, History, Geography, Commerce, or any other relevant subject, and a credit pass in the English language and Mathematics at KCE level or equivalent.
- Approved Diploma
Candidates with a Kenyatta University approved diploma or Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Diploma with at least a credit pass in: Building Construction, Architectural Studies, Land Surveying and Civil Engineering; or Diploma in Estate Agency and Property Management; or Diploma in Technology (Dip. Tech) in Land Administration may be admitted into the first year of study.

Mount Kenya is a privately owned training institution and it offers a degree course in real estate management. Admission requirement for a degree program include at least a C+ in KCSE or a diploma in real estate management.
- Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT)
If you miss admission to UoN, you better select JKUAT because it’s known for producing very qualified graduates.
Admission requirement include:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) with a minimum aggregate of B- (minus) and C+ (plus) as the minimum grade in the following cluster subjects: Alternative A(English or Kiswahili, Mathematics, Physics, Geography or Building, Construction or Drawing, Design or Economics or Commerce or Accounting; OR Alternative B (English or Kiswahili, Mathematics, Physical Science, Geography/Building, Design or Economics or Construction or Drawing, Commerce or Accounting. A holder of a Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline, with credit or distinction may be considered.
