Following the ongoing registration of voters by the IEBC,we would like to reveal the figures by province in week one.
The official figures are as follows:
North Eastern – 24,006 (92% of target)
Central – 139, 876 (87% of target)
Rift Valley – 169,371 (60% of target)
Coast – 95,681 (58% of target)
Eastern 127,580 (57% of target)
Nyanza 95,945 (48% of target)
Nairobi 95,966 (48% of target)
Western 75,193 (43% of target)
From the figures above, CORD strongholds still lag behind as Jubilee stronghold surges past the 80 % of the target figures. This demonstrates that the real voter apathy is in CORD strongholds, which include Western,Nyanza,Coast and Eastern.
