Willy Paul to Quit Gospel Industry for Secular Music

Music sensational, Willy Paul, has told friends that he is about to quit gospel music industry for secular.

Willy Paul, who scored D in KCSE, added he is completely bored with gospel music, which he termed “not paying and for struggling musicians”, and that he wants to follow his heart.

“I will soon make a decision, sooner than you expect.”Mapenzi” will be my first secular song”,he  revealed.

The singer is among the most controversial gospel artistes in Kenya.He joined the industry a broke boy,and through support from fans and Kenyans, who are always sympathetic, he earned a name and money.Last month,Willy Poze released a song with Jamaican musician,Alaine.The song, which is believed to be secular, has since become a hit in East Africa. The popularity of this particular song forms the basis of Willy’s argument, that secular is much better than gospel—he will therefore quit gospel.
