Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu has quit Jubilee Party.
Waititu made the announcement Thursday evening after it emerged that Jubilee party was favouring his opponent, Kabogo.
Waititu was due to face Kabogo on Friday, but there were all indications he could lose to the incumbent.
The MP will now contest for Kiambu Gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate, a decision he has made today.
His exit from the race means that Kabogo is Kiambu Governor elect.
