Miguna Miguna, the Nairobi Gubernatorial contestant, was today rejected by the IEBC after he presented signatures in JPEG format instead of Excel.
The tough Law Professor failed to follow instructions provided by the body requiring that he present 2000 signatures in Excel format, he instead created his own rules which he wanted IEBC to follow.Chebutati’s men could not hear his explanation, which was full of polished English. They rejected him outright and ordered him to rectify the mistakes as soon as possible.
“Go back and come with the signatures in Excel format”. A dejected Miguna stood and walked past the IEBC officers in Kasarani accompanied by handful supporters.
Miguna is in the race against Evans Kidero, Mike Sonko, Peter Kenneth and other trailing candidates.
