Safaricom has a total of 5 hosting plans for small websites. The cheapest plan is termed as Lite Package, which costs Ksh 599 per year. This is specifically for websites with less than 100 daily visitors.
The second plan is Bronze package, which comes with 500MB storage and 10 email accounts. The plan costs Ksh 1,500 per year. Another plan, which is the most popular, is Silver package. This plan is suitable for websites that receive 10,000-100,000 monthly visitors. The package costs Ksh 2,500 per year.
Another popular plan is Gold Package, which goes for Ksh 4,000 per year.This plan comes with 10GB storage and 100 sub domains.
The most expensive plan is Platinum Package, which goes for Ksh 5,000 per year.This package is suitable for medium websites, those that receive daily visitors of up to 8,000.
Features of the hosting plans
- Customers will have their websites and mail hosted.
- Payment is made once off annually and client must pay upfront (in full) before they are activated on the service.
