It’s emerging Public Likes was a scam after all-it’s started conning people.
Several cases have been reported by Public Likes subscribers complaining of losing money to the company after they upgraded their accounts. The most affected are those in the Gold category.
An account holder by the name Cynthia Bella has contacted Safaricom, through the company’s Facebook page, to request Public Likes to allow her withdraw her money. This was after Cynthia’s account in Public Likes failed to open. Efforts to contact the company were met with a rude shock; no one was able to attend to her question.
This is Cythia’s message:
Hello Safaricom?
I am a clicker at Public Likes Kenya. I Joined public likes a few months ago. I upgraded my account and have got more than 100 referalls. (Employees?)
Most of them have upgraded their accounts with either premium or basic account.
Some of them upgraded their accounts recently and have not withdrawn .
I know you have contacts with this guys. They have started playing mind games with us.
Please if you have our interests as your Safaricom customers.
Please increase the daily payout or advice them on how to pay their employees.
You can also ask them to deposit the money with you… So that you can pay us since we Kenyans have trust in you.
Please Safaricom Di something on our behalf.
Yours
Cynthia Bella
Another account holder, Leah, also complained that despite meeting the condition to withdraw her money, the company won’t allow her make the process. She is now worried her cash, which is trapped in Public Likes account, will be lost days after she upgraded the account.
We appeal to whoever has the account in Public Likes to withdraw their money or simply avoid upgrading.
